Or perhaps you have been invited to a summer party or reunion, and while there’s been plenty of sunshine, your hectic schedule has prohibited you from enjoying the outdoors, as most of your days have been spent at the office, staring at the computer.
Aside from the smorgasbord of fake tanning and self tanning choices now available, many tanning establishments have now come up with a crash tan package known as the Triple Dip Tan.
Now, you might have visualized some revolutionary pool of tanning solution where you it for a few minutes and come out with golden brown skin. You didn’t? Perhaps that’s just my overactive imagination then.
Triple Dip Tan packages, however, are actually a combination of effective, long-lasting tanning methods that are sure to produce that instant tan you need right away.
Step 1: Hydration
Preparing the skin adequately is very crucial in achieving that golden tan, so the first step in a Triple Dip Tanning package is a hydration session.
This usually includes a heat and steam session that hydrates your skin, and the application of various minerals and nutrients to moisturize your skin and make it more ready for tanning solutions.
Step 2: UV Tanning
The next step in a Triple Dip Tan package is a tanning bed session. Once your skin is completely hydrated and ready for tanning, you are then directed to a tanning bed for a good old-fashioned tanning bed session.
Most tanning salons offer different levels of tanning beds with varying intensity, but for a quick and effective instant tan, they will probably recommend that you use the strongest intensity bed for this package.
Step 3: Spray or Airbrush Tanning
To complete the color results, even out the tan, and give you a long-lasting natural glow, you will also receive either a tanning mist spray or a professional airbrush tan for a few minutes.
Spray tanning booths are still more common, but if your local tanning establishment offers airbrush tanning by a specialist, this is more recommended as it is more likely to produce that even color you are looking for.
Word of Caution:
Triple Dip Tanning is admittedly more intense and comprehensive than your usual tanning regimen, so your specialist would likely not recommend this to be done too often. Use only when necessary, and it is still more advisable to build your tan more gradually.
